当時は「北斗の拳」とか「花の慶次」とか「牙狼」とかそのあたりのMAX機と、ART真っ盛りのパチスロを死ぬほど、それこそ指にタコが出来て消えないほどに打ってました。
やめる前
週に5-6日、平日は仕事終わりに、土日は朝から並んでパチンコ店へ。給料が出れば即出金→パチンコ店へ。ボーナス＝パチンコ資金。イベント日は有給取ってパチンコ。貯金などできる訳もなく常に貧乏でした。大きな声では言えませんが、人から借りたお金でギャンブルする「カス・オブ・カス」でした。
きっかけ
「ギャンブル依存症」
この言葉を知って自分が病気なのだと理解する事が出来ました。
同じ病気で苦しんでいる人がいる事を知りました。ギャンブル依存症の人が集まるWEB上のコミュニティがあって、そのコミュニティの書き込みを毎日見ていました。
書き込みを見ているうちに、自分がこれ以上ギャンブルを続けると大切な人を不幸にすると知り、辞めると決めました。
どうやったか
- 平日は毎日ジム通いの予定を入れる
- 休憩時間は常に、衝動が襲って来た時もギャンブル依存症のWEBコミュニティで新たな書き込みをチェック
- お金を持たない(カードを彼女に預ける)
- 土日は必ず人と会う・遊ぶ予定を入れる
- パチンコ雑誌を見ない
- 周りに「やめた」と言いまくる
- １ヶ月毎にお金の収支表をつけて写真を撮る
これらの実行項目を並行稼働させて、行かないと決めたモチベーションを維持し、日々の生活にはギャンブルに使うほどにお金に余裕が無い事を常に自覚し、いつでも決意を思い出せるようにしました。
いまは
辞めると決めた日から、一度もパチンコ店へは行っていません。もう10年近くになりますが、正直今でも行きたい気持ちがあります。でも、辞める事の素晴らしさを知る事ができたので、二度と行くことはないと思います。
辞めるとお金が残るようになります。
辞めると心が穏やかになります。
辞めるとお金の大切さを思い出します。
辞めると人との繋がりにお金を使えるようになります。
辞めると時間を大切に使えるようになります。
辞めると大切な人を幸せにする事ができるようになります。
辞める事は簡単では無いかもしれません。ですが、辞める意思を持ってこの文章を読んでいるあなたなら、必ず辞める事ができると思います。
自分のためではなく、周りの人のために、いま二度と行かないと決めてください。
